A.J. Johnson – Co-Chairman
Prior to founding Georgetown Capital, Mr. Johnson was the President and Owner of Eagle Group International. During his tenure at Eagle Group he served in various roles including Vice President of Corporate Strategy and CFO. As President, Mr. Johnson provided strategic oversight and corporate guidance for the executive staff in the day-to-day operations of the business. Additionally, Mr. Johnson managed the finance department, human resources, contracting and business operations. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Johnson was the Chief Executive Officer of Millennium Health Care, a home health care provider in San Antonio, Texas. He also provided strategic guidance and management for daily operations. Additionally, Mr. Johnson worked in the Strategic Planning Group at Merrill Lynch in Princeton, New Jersey. Mr. Johnson is also active in the community where he currently serves as a board member of Points of Light, a national non-profit organization, a member of the Advisory Board for the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University, and a member of the 2007 Class of Leadership Atlanta. Mr. Johnson has also served on the board and executive committee for Hands On Atlanta, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Points of Light Institute, Saint Joseph's Mercy Foundation, Atlanta Food Bank, and the Board of Visitors for Emory University. Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelors degree from Texas Tech University and his JD and MBA from George Washington University. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Judy and has two children, Alex and Devan.
Charles S. Lazar – Co-Chairman
In addition to being co-chairman of Broadrange Logistics, Charles is Chairman of Lazco Group. Prior to his current role, Charles served as Vice Chairman of Euram Bank in Vienna, Austria. He also served as Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley focusing on asset management products and head of Corporate Finance and Structured Asset Products at Refco Securities. Prior to his position at Refco, Charles worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. on institutional asset management products and spent time working with the REIT division of the Invest banking Unit. Charles received a B.A.S. in Finance from York University in Toronto, Ontario, and did graduate work at Harvard University in Cambridge MA.
Doug Parks – Co-founder
and current CEO
Before founding Broadrange Logistics, Doug Parks held management positions at
Q Logistic Solutions and Eagle Global Logistics, both third-party logistics providers
and at Emery Worldwide, a freight forwarder/integrated carrier. His 24 years
of sales and operations experience has allowed him to work on a national scale
with many Fortune 500 companies and design and implement supply chain solutions
on their behalf.
Richard Bray – Vice
President of Logistics
Before joining Broadrange Logistics, Richard had spent the previous 29 years
in various management positions as well as successfully running his own company.
As a 32 year veteran of the transportation and logistics industry, Richard brings
a wealth of knowledge to our team. He brings an 18 year background as a successful
manager at Roadway Express facilities in 6 different cities and the past 14 years
developing critical strategies for clients in the import/export and retail distribution
markets. Richard attained a BS degree in Corporate Finance from the University
of Alabama. |
